Our client, a market leader in the engineering sector, is looking for an experienced Product/Project Design Engineer to join their growing team.

You will be providing engineered design solutions for new and existing company products.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing detailed manufacturing drawings from 3D models (SolidWorks).
Creating and managing BOM's within company ERP system.
Ensuring that all designs produced are fit for purpose, meet regulations and support efficiency of manufacture.
Creating and maintaining product specific technical documentation.
Continuous improvement of current products.
Project execution for standalone products, liaising with clients and other departments ensuring brief is met for the project.
Ensuring that assigned contracts are undertaken to achieve customer satisfaction, within both cost estimate and timescales.

You must be a skilled Design/Product Engineer with experience in sheet metal and fabricated product design. Ideally you will have experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD but training will be given where required.
