Our client, a Top Four Firm offers an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced US Taxation professional to join their expanding team providing industry leading compliance and advisory services within several different sectors.
Working as part of a dedicated team you will demonstrate a range of technical finance skills working to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. The skills and experience for these opportunities include but are not limited to the following: -
Client Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for US tax matters, managing relationships with clients and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Tax Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and filing of complex US tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. In-depth knowledge of compliance and consulting for investment partnerships, including hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds, with expertise in fund structuring for optimal tax efficiency.
Strategic Tax Planning:
Provide expert advice on US tax planning, helping clients optimise their tax positions and mitigate risks.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Business Development:
Actively contribute to business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and grow the firm's US tax practice.
Qualifications & Skills Required
The suitable candidate will demonstrate a minimum of 10 plus years recent relevant experience with U.S. Tax gained within a professional services firm or similar.
CPA or equivalent professional certification.
A strong proven track record of developing and sustaining deep client relationships.
In depth knowledge of current US tax laws and regulations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Proven expertise in evaluating and negotiating contracts.
